1.
On the reviewer side, the process starts when a reviewer is contacted by the Associate Editor who is in charge of a particular JIITO submission. The Associate Editor sends the
submission via email and refers to these review instructions.
2. The review needs to be done within four (4) weeks. If a reviewer cannot keep up with this pace, they should inform the Associate Editor right away and will be excused. Then, the review task will be assigned to another reviewer.
3. The reviewer should check JIITO's mission and editorial
statements and engage these in the evaluation. JIITO values articles in which all the coverage bases are addressed-- information, information technology, and the organizational context.
Note that this approach is almost unique among some 700 information systems journals that exist in the world.
4. If the review is not clear about anything, they should coordinate with their Associate Editor. The same applies to the case of not being able to complete the review.
5. A completed review form (see the link above for downloading
it) needs to be emailed to the Associate Editor.
Thank you for being JIITO reviewer and for supporting
scholarship
in a fair, collegial manner!
